recoMONDAYtion #1

I am in a rut. In all respects.

SO, in order to push myself to become re-inspired by reading and living life outside of my bedroom, I decided to “launch” a new series where I recommend books every Monday. Because GODDAMN that’s a good pun, right?

This week, Ian McEwan’s Atonement. It’s probably my favorite story of all time, and seeing as I only read nonfiction these days, looking into why this fiction piece is my favorite will hopefully spark the old enthusiasm I had with the genre.

Atonement is literally the most tragic and beautiful story of love and family I’ve ever read/seen/encountered/you get the picture. If you like period pieces (this is circa 1930s to WWII), you will love this.
