I Am Legend by Richard Matheson, 1954 I recently let you know my thoughts and feelings about the film adaptation of this book, but I'm recommending it to you again because this book deserves it! I hate horror and pretty much everything scary, but this story was so incredible. Matheson's writing style was truly sublime.
